Q1. How many days required to complete the empanelment with all Insurance Providers

It’s a tough question to answer, it depends on hospital requirements in your area for any Insurance Provider, hospital infrastructure, facilities, doctors team, bed strength and many other criteria that needs to be match, and if all went good it will takes 3-6 months to complete the empanelment of all-important Insurance providers in your area

Q2. What is the minimum requirement for an empanelment with Insurance Providers?

To empanel with any Insurance Provider you should have at least hospital registration certificate, minimum 10 Beds in your hospital (not compulsory for day care units like Ophthalmology & Dental etc.)

Q3. Do companies charge for an empanelment?

This is very misleading concept in insurance industry that empanelment is charged process. Empanelment is completely a free process but some companies charge for hospital mapping or as per their standard requirements

Hospital mapping is quality check of hospital, its infrastructure, facilities and services

Q5. What if companies are not responding even after sending empanelment request mail?

You can directly call to the empanelment department of the company for empanelment request and inquiries.

Q6. How can we confirm that our empanelment is completed?

Generally, companies respond on mail or in hard copy with welcome mail / kit after completion of empanelment. Some companies directly display hospital name on their site in network hospital list or you can directly contact the company for inquiry.

Q7. We do empanelment / cashless for hospitals?

No, we don’t do empanelment or cashless for hospitals rather we provide robust system to process this in single click than wasting months in finding right channels and format to approach, documentation, record keeping, renewals etc.

Q10. Is NABH compulsory for empanelment with Insurance Providers?

No, NABH is not compulsory yet but IRDAI has given a deadline up to which all hospitals providing cashless services has to complete Pre-NABH accreditation.
